1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to retain and return with later requests. Cookies and similar browser storage can support security, remember a choice, measure activity, retain local game state, or enable advertising.
Q00P distinguishes essential storage from analytics and other non-essential purposes.
2. Essential first-party session
Q00P uses a first-party Laravel session cookie. It supports request security and can remember that a launch of the same game or a repeated campaign click was already counted during a short deduplication window.
After a visitor follows a Q00P campaign link, the session can retain that campaign for up to 72 hours so one verified game start can be attributed. It does not create a public player account or long-term gameplay profile.
Administrator login also depends on the first-party session. Administrator sessions are protected by authentication and are not intended to build an advertising audience.
3. Google Analytics 4 cookies
Q00P currently uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on the public portal to measure usage and site performance.
Google Analytics can use first-party cookies or similar
pseudonymous identifiers, including identifiers such as
_ga, to distinguish browser activity and sessions
depending on browser settings, Google configuration, and
applicable consent requirements.
Analytics information can include page views, session activity, referral source, browser and device characteristics, approximate geographic information, and interaction events.
4. Security characteristics
Production session cookies are intended to be transmitted over HTTPS, protected from ordinary JavaScript access through the HttpOnly setting where applicable, and limited by an appropriate SameSite policy.
Q00P's isolated game origin is designed not to receive the administrator authentication cookie, and uploaded HTML5 game packages are not intended to receive administrator credentials.
5. Game storage
Individual browser games may use local browser storage when needed for gameplay, such as preferences, progress, scores, unlocked content, or other local state. The exact storage depends on the game.
Locally stored game state is generally associated with the browser profile and device. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers, or changing devices can remove or hide that state.
6. Advertising cookies
At the time of this update, Q00P's public portal does not load Google AdSense advertising scripts and does not intentionally place Google AdSense advertising cookies through its public page templates.
Q00P may enable Google AdSense or another advertising service in the future. Before or when non-essential advertising technology is enabled, Q00P will update these disclosures and use an appropriate consent mechanism where applicable law requires one.
7. External services and links
The portal may request resources from service providers such as Google Analytics or content-delivery services such as jsDelivr. Those providers can receive normal technical connection information when a browser requests their resources.
Links to game creators, license documents, source pages, videos, or other independent websites are governed by the privacy and storage practices of those services after you visit them.
8. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to inspect, clear, restrict, or block cookies and other site data. Blocking the essential Q00P session may interfere with protected forms, launch and campaign deduplication, attribution, or administrator login.
Restricting analytics cookies or browser storage can also affect measurement or locally saved game state.
9. Consent and future changes
Where applicable law requires a privacy choice for non-essential storage or advertising technology, Q00P will use an appropriate consent mechanism for the relevant visitors and services.
This Cookie Policy will be updated when Q00P materially changes its analytics, advertising, storage, or cookie practices.
