Release scope

This note documents the current NIGHTSHARD: Idle Ascension Q00P runtime build 1.1.0, release ID 20260819051533-kxehd8u8j7otjayr. The package was validated on August 19, 2026 and its standalone index.html SHA-256 is e9acdfd5548c4a396b72d75a294fadcd31a6fc0ec79a7e48fc580ec5bfc7b070.

What changed in 1.1.0

The release README records a new painterly Shiverwood battlefield, layered Nightblade, Grave Stalker, and Antler King artwork, and a move to real squad waves. Normal waves now contain two to four enemies and wave 5 is the boss encounter.

The combat presentation was rebuilt around a session-loot HUD, daily-vow HUD, centered encounter bar, and skill dock. The Warden dashboard also brings hero status, equipment, Arts, attributes, companions, relics, daily rewards, auto-battle, and Ascension status into one progression surface.

The package is responsive for desktop and Android-landscape layouts. Four WebP art assets are embedded directly in index.html, so the current runtime does not depend on an external image CDN for those assets.

Save compatibility was preserved

The save schema remains version 1. The runtime continues to use nightshard_save_v1 and nightshard_save_backup_v1, preserving the primary-plus-backup design already used by the game.

The current code wraps the payload in a checksum envelope, rejects damaged imports, and keeps manual export/import available from Settings. This release therefore changes combat presentation and squad behavior without intentionally forcing a new save schema.

Package validation recorded for this release

The release documentation records these checks as PASS:

  • Embedded runtime syntax.
  • Four embedded WebP containers with unique hashes.
  • Save encode/decode round trip.
  • Squad wave 1 to wave 2 transition.
  • Antler King boss to Stage 2 transition.

These are package-level checks for the published build. They do not imply that every browser/device combination has been tested; browser and device verification is tracked separately from this release note.

Why Q00P is publishing this note

The purpose of this update page is to make the current browser build inspectable as a product release rather than presenting NIGHTSHARD as an unexplained embedded game. Players can connect the build number, save behavior, encounter changes, and package validation record to the release they are actually playing.
