NIGHTSHARD: Idle Ascension is a dark-fantasy idle action RPG built for quick sessions and long-term progression. Choose the Nightblade, Iron Warden, Starcaller, or Riftcaller, then send your Warden into continuous side-view battles across Shiverwood, Ember Waste, Drowned Spire, Glass Desert, and the Eclipse Throne. Combat runs automatically, but timing active skills can decide difficult boss fights. Each class has four unique Arts, individual combat statistics, and a distinct fighting identity. Defeated enemies grant gold and experience, while bosses drop equipment for six gear slots. Improve eight core attributes, create specialized builds with equipment affixes, bind one of four companions, and empower six ancient relics. Every fifth wave ends with a timed boss encounter. Reaching Stage 5 unlocks the Abyss Echo trials, while Stage 10 enables Eclipse Ascension. Ascending restarts the journey in exchange for Sigils that permanently increase attack and maximum health. Daily vows, lifetime achievements, offline rewards for up to eight hours, and endlessly scaling stages give returning players clear progression goals. NIGHTSHARD contains no forced advertisements, paywalls, or paid upgrades. The game supports touchscreen landscape play and keyboard shortcuts. Progress is protected by dual checksummed local save slots, with manual export and import available for recovery or transferring progress between versions.
Touch: Combat runs automatically. Tap the three skill orbs to cast equipped Arts. Use the bottom navigation tabs to upgrade attributes, equip gear, manage skills, select companions, empower relics, and claim quests. Tap AUTO to pause or resume automatic attacks. Keyboard: Press 1, 2, or 3 to cast equipped skills. Press A to toggle automatic combat. Press Escape to close an open menu.

Spend gold in Growth to improve attack, health, regeneration, speed, armor, critical statistics, and skill power. 4. Equip stronger items found during combat and boss encounters. 5. Cast active skills when fighting powerful enemies or timed bosses. 6. Bind a companion and empower relics for additional permanent bonuses. 7. Complete daily vows, achievements, and Abyss Echo trials for Moon Shards. 8. Reach Stage 10 and perform Eclipse Ascension to gain permanent Sigils. 9. Continue through increasingly difficult stages and build a stronger Warden after every Ascension.
Prioritize Attack and Attack Speed during the first stages. Save high-damage skills for timed boss encounters. Use Equip Best after collecting several new equipment pieces. Salvage unused Common and Rare gear for additional gold. Choose a companion that complements your class and current build. Relics and Eclipse Sigils remain valuable across Ascensions. Ascend when progress slows instead of remaining on one difficult stage. Export a manual save backup before changing browsers or devices.
